On the bottom of this page you can find this year's schedules of the SCT. Each day of the SCT focuses on another field of study within the social sciences; Monday highlights companies in the field of psychology, Tuesday is all about organizations that focus on human resource studies and organization studies, and on Wednesday companies that represent the fields of sociology and global management of social issues are present.

Information for organizations
The Social Sciences Career Event is the event to make your organizations familiar with the students of the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences from Tilburg University.

During a workshop, a presentation, a case or a lecture, you can get in contact with students from different studies and years in an interactive way. Moreover, this event is the perfect opportunity to meet your future employee or intern during one of our networking activities.

Information about the pre-event

The pre-event is organized on the 8th of March together with IDEA, the Faculty Association of TSB. At the pre-event you will be provided with tips and tricks for optimizing your resume, and workshops on personal branding, personal effectiveness and time management will be given. Participating the pre-event is free, and you can register yourself via the button below.

Information about the SCT Psychology Day

On Monday the 19th of April the first day of the SCT 2021 takes place, which is mainly focused on the field of psychology. Several presentations and/or workshops will be given by Gemeente Dongen, PAO Psychologie, PSION, Silver Psychologie, Slachtofferhulp Nederland, SPS-NIP and Underlined. After the presentations and workshops have finished, you can talk to representatives of the companies in a more informal setting at the speed dating rounds. There are three speed dating rounds each day, and in each round a maximum of three students can talk to a company. When registering for the SCT, you can specify the companies of your preference for the speed dating rounds. Please be aware that you will not be automatically guaranteed a spot at the speed dating rounds, due to the number of (interested) participants. You will be contacted whether you are selected for the speed dating round(s) prior to the event.

Information about the SCT Organization Studies and Human Resource Studies Day

On Tuesday the 20th of April the second day of the SCT 2021 takes place, which is mainly focused on the fields of human resources and organization studies. Several presentations and/or workshops will be given by Berenschot, Certus Groep, EY, Frisse Blikken, Gemeente Dongen, OchtendMensen, Talent for Care, TEN HAVE Change Management, Undutchables Recruitment Agency and Welten. After the presentations and workshops have finished, you can talk to representatives of the companies in a more informal setting at the speed dating rounds. There are three speed dating rounds each day, and in each round a maximum of three students can talk to a company. When registering for the SCT, you can specify the companies of your preference for the speed dating rounds. Please be aware that you will not be automatically guaranteed a spot at the speed dating rounds, due to the number of (interested) participants. On Wednesday the 21st of April the last day of the SCT 2021 takes place, which is mainly focused on the fields of global management of social issues and sociology. Several presentations and/or workshops will be given by CBS, Cross Your Borders, Let's Go Africa, Nationale Politie, Nautus, Het PON and Toekomst van Brabant. After the presentations and workshops have finished, you can talk to representatives of the companies in a more informal setting at the speed dating rounds. There are three speed dating rounds each day, and in each round a maximum of three students can talk to a company. When registering for the SCT, you can specify the companies of your preference for the speed dating rounds. Please be aware that you will not be automatically guaranteed a spot at the speed dating rounds, due to the number of (interested) participants.
